The 2024 Low Budget Digital Waiver

The Low Budget Digital Waiver has been extended and amended as set forth below. Please review the PDF for the full waiver terms.

• The amended waiver is effective June 27, 2024 and all terms and conditions of the current waiver extended from April 1, 2024 through June 26, 2024.
• Connected low budget digital productions are permitted, but must be on a different day than the full-budget commercial production.
• Eliminated requirement to submit an attestation of the budget to the Union prior to the shoot.
• Scale session fee for principal performers and extras.
• The principal performer use and edit fees are still freely bargained.
• The Maximum Period of Use (MPU) is 1-year from the date of first use of 13-weeks after last production date, whichever is earlier.
• The waiver sunsets on March 31, 2025.
